From whom we were scarred forever And technically Damien is right as it did come with the Wii, so if we don't count Wii Sports and include ports and re-releases, he'd be right with Pokémon. Pokémon Red/Green/Blue has been sold over 59 million times. But not including the ports and re-releases, it'd be Super Mario Bros from 1985. In Japan, this would count as it didn't come with the Famicom. This game has been sold over 40 million times of the original copies.

For those curious, this must've been filmed before Legends Arceus, because there is currently 905 different Pokemon. They introduced 7 new Pokemon in Legends Arceus: Wyrdeer, Cleaver, Ursaluna, Basculegion, Sneasler, Overqwil, and Enamorus. If we are also counting Pokemon that have been officially revealed, there's 908 with the introduction of Gen 9's starters: Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxley.

I don't know when this was filmed, but I just wanna say that there are actually currently 908 known Pokemon as of February 27, 2022. The ones they missed in this video were the 7 that were added in 'Pokemon Legends: Arceus' and the 3 starters that were revealed for 'Pokemon Scarlet' and 'Pokemon Violet'. I dont blame them for getting this wrong though because these Pokemon are still very new, so the first few results on Google still say 898.
