I notice you avoid stating all the extras for instance how many hours a week for the company you need to do to cover ALL the expenses

REALLY MISLEADING "earnings of £45-50k pa" is correct if you teach 40 hours per week, but from that you need to take the cost of the franchise (~£12k pa), pay for student referrals (up to £3.50 per hour), fuel, etc - a better estimate of pre-tax net income is £30-35k - also, don't forget you have to drive from one client to another - those 40 hours? More like 50... Good luck!

Trust me. Been doing the job 20+years and I'm charging higher rates than many and dont have the costs you would like with a large school and ive never earnt £50k a year and i work 6 days a week. This guy talks about turnover not earnings so expect to take off 50/60% of your turnover. Dont get me wrong its a great job very flexible if you want it to be but your not gonna earn top dollar the work is just not there and the costs are too high.

What about pension, ni contributions, tax, and medical insurance ? ?

Self employed as a sole trader, so you deduct allowances, car expenses , fuel, mobile phone, broadband etc etc, accountants fee, though it’s easy enough to submit your own accounts , subtract personal tax allowance then taxed on profits , pay class 2 NI contribution monthly and the profits are taxed with class 4 NI at 9% and then taxed on profits at 20% Don’t need medical insurance we have NHS

@@mrSbig20 Any Self employment takes extra work, I’m a taxi driver I’ve been do it for thirty years. PAYE just steals your money at source and you cannot deduct expenses for you car, phone, broadband, office space at home self employment and deduct your expenses, very easy to do on line now or pay any an accountant 300/400 per year At the end of the day, I’ve never worked for money, only worked for the job I enjoy, cab trade has been flummoxed by the Green Nazis and I don’t want to pay over 100k for a new cab to save the planet I’m sixty four, no wife kids or mortgage so just looking for something flexible that keeps the grey matter going I’m used to sitting in a vehicle 8 to 12 hours per day and dealing with people

Hi The video doesn't explain how much Red charge for the car and on average how may hours you would need to work before you start earning for yourself after you've paid for the cost of the car and arrangements

All looks good on paper. Don't get me wrong I do OK not these figures but I manage I do need a second income most people do. I'm looking at starting another side line to supplement my income. There are just too many gaps in your diary. If you wanna do it do it but settle for around £25k is more realistic

Hi I've just tried to book a package of driving lessons on your online form but your form doesn't work saying that my postcode postcode is incorrect which it most definitely isn't
