Nothing but God having your video cross my timeline! I am a smalls creator as well & Although our niches are different the message was the same! I also do not want to experience burn out which is why I have decided to create content about what I love and post at least once a week, which doesn’t impact me. I use to try to do 2-3 and saw it was very stressful. My goal is to connect and meet people not to be burned out! Loved your video so much and wishing you all of the best!

So much respect! 🥰 I love that you have such a healthy relationship towards KZbin and that you're in it for the long haul. The fact that you actually like what you do really shows in your videos. I look forward to them so much every week ♥ Can you do tax writeoffs for book purchases because they are an business expense? Have you considered starting a Kofi page or somethings similar? If you ever decide to do a "guide to..." video again may I vote for Brandon Sanderson? 😊 I've been meaning to tackle his books for so long (even put it on my book bingo this year) but it's... intimidating 😅
@thePMreader7 ай бұрын
I'm actually not sure if books can be tax write off. I haven't even thought to look into it haha. I've considered doing one membership tier in the future but I'm still on the fence about it. I do plan to do a guide to Brandy Sandy! I just need to actually you know... plan it out 😜

i really enjoyed this video! i'm not monetized yet and don't know if i'll ever be (which would also be fine!) but i have a similar mindset/approach to you where i want this to stay fun. like you, i also don't really want to niche even though i know it would help me grow more. but i don't think all online growth is good so i just kind of make the stuff that i want to and hope that the people who are meant to see it eventually will. thank you for sharing, and i hope you get paid out sooner than 2025 :)

Congratulations on getting monetized! That is a huge feat on it's own! Honestly, we have been struggling to gain subs. We have been on YT for a year and it's like we get a few subs every few days, and it has been a grind. It seems like the more subs you get, the more YT will recommend your videos, so the larger channels get recommended so much more and can grow exponentially faster . I understand the logic behind it, but it it makes it so hard for smaller channels to get off the ground.
@thePMreader7 ай бұрын
It really is tough. I feel like even when we do get a video that does surprisingly well KZbin will still sometimes stop recommending it out of no where too.

I think you're adorable! I like your determination and vibe. Keep it up! A few tips you could do to boost your views (for you to get that paycheck in 2024): -add hashtags in every video. It can be at the bottom so no one notices, but it might make a difference in algorithm. -Consistently uploading is another too. Having a schedule helps youtube understand you're still a active user. If you don't have a schedule, and not post for awhile, youtube thinks you are no longer active and will stop recommending you. - make shorts! I hope this helps you girl!!

To qualify to be monetized you do need to hit the 4000, unfortunately. But I did hit that number in 2022 which is when I got monetized. But AFTER you're officially monetized there doesn't seem to be any rules on how many watch hours you need to keep.

Once your monetized. It’s time to go beast mode and bring out a regular set of videos as if your network television. It’s a struggle.
