Even though the ERS amount will be doubled that of FRS in 2025 onwards, the payout for ERS is NOT doubled that of the FRS (it's slightly < 2 times). The gap might be small now but it will be worrying if it widens.

At age 68 with full ERS, is it better to join cpf life standard plan at age 70 or age 79. If receive payout at 70. Bearing in mind that the interest earned goes into the pool once you joined cpf life. Thank you

Post-55 but have not really looked into CPF Life payouts. Did not realise that men and women receive different payouts - eventhough the FRS BRS etc amounts are the same for both genders...

Because it pays for life, CPF Life has to account that women tend to live longer

Question - Whether you are male or female, both groups will channel the same amount of monies to FRS or ERS etc. , with the interests applies to the both groups the same, then why the female will get lesser payout then their male counterpart? What kind of assumption did you make here? Thanks/Henry

Cos statistically women live longer. So they payout lower amount which translates to longer payout duration.

CPF Life is BS. They makan your 6 digits FRS of $304634 & in return they gv u average daily allowance of about $50, u think its worth? If this $304634 remains in your RA, it would earn u 4.08% compound interest which your NOK can collect back
