i am living proof that a household can live with smaller incomes. my household consist of 2 parents + 2 sch going kids and 1 maid. Stay in a resale 5 room. Our combined household income is above the median household income of Singapore. We saved typically more than 70 to 80 percent of our take home earned income and only spend the remaining leftover and still surviving well. We save our monies in high yield accounts, SSB, capital and interest guaranteed endowments, S&P 500 etc. The profits or interest we gain from these gets to cover our yearly holidays. We also dont cut back on our wants and we purchase stuff that we are interested but of course not so much on branded goods. So i can clearly say a 2k to 3k for expenses is more than enough unless one wants to have a car or buy a condo which means a higher mortage rate. Its really just lifestyle inflation for most people who says they need a large monthly income for expenses. My opinion on comfortable income means have enough for expenses and enough for savings/investments. But people who only have 3 to 5k household income, they can still survive decently, just that no extra for savings/investments. Also, i strongly believe in worklife balance. I personally work from home and i only work 8 hours a day plus minus. i do have alot of free time so comparing to others who owns businesses, they spend lotsa hours in the business to get to a high income, basically trading their life and their time to work. For my household, thankfully we earn higher than the median income and we are employees, so there is no business responsibility or stress. Alot of family time and personal time to even play games, enjoy our time watching movies and hobbies etc etc. So thats the thing, do u wanna earn a very high income like influencers or business owners but trading your life hours away to work or earning a income thats enough and still have a life. So people dont go compare with high income earners, you sow what u reap. Strive to be happy and contented and not a number. End of the day when u die, nothing can be brought with you. Occupy your time with a religious faith as well as you never know, life after death might be eternal then what life is on earth hehe.

However, hopefully there is chance to expand the reach to different crowds, otherwise I afraid it will form an echo chamber and people may not see the real world. Good work for street interview. I love this card. It fits my spend pattern perfectly. I must commend Maybank for their Treats App too! It is so easy to track my spend accordingly. $312.50 maximum spend for each category ain't difficult to hit for the $25.00 rebate. $800 overall total spend is easy too! Well done Maybank. Using this card in Malaysia gives a nett rate (8% cash back minus 3.25% markup minus Visa's rate) better than using cash.

I was just discussing with my friends and this video proves true. A lot of people don’t understand that concept of mean and median wage. Once again, median is the middle dude in the data set. Not the avg. With the 7 of us salary from smallest to highest the median is about $4.8k. But our mean is $6k because you have 2 that are high income earners.
