@VanHikeMike I watched you gaming set up vid, would you consider getting an PC for the van or is the Rog just that good? Also how do you finding the star link is it worth the money? I only ask as I hope to be doing van life full time at some point this year. 👍

@ the rog is a great little pc I mainly bought it one for size and two consumes the least amount of power/performance. Starlink is awesome it’s handy in those dead spots you will come across for me personally it’s worth the money even more so as I need to upload KZbin videos when you thinking of taking the leap?

For a minimalist your spending alot, bills should be van insurance roadtax gym and mobile. Aiming for £100-120 total my mobile with unlimited data is £16 a month. £450 a month on food for one person?? Even steak everynight i couldnt get there.

@@mainaccount3 what about mot and service and diesel think they are pretty essential and no way are you getting all those costs to £120 total. Like I said in the video everyone eating is different and that’s what I spend it’s actually quite easy to hit £15 a day on food that gives you £5 a meal without snacks

@ I’m taking him off the road for a bit to rest as the beaten tracks I have endured over the past year daily has taken its toll on the ol beaut! I never planned on using it daily but it soon become my day van. She’s a T5 and like a drive but if she was a T6 she probably wouldn’t need a fix! 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m a wounded in service military veteran. I had 50 ops. Then a right leg implant and open spine surgery so I had to sell house and move into social housing. I can’t work hubby does. It’s getting more costly with little quality of life and I trained as a mountain leader with help for heroes so I can’t cope unless I’m outdoors.

Your van insurance is 5 times my car insurance. Your phone is 10 times my phone bill. I understand it’s a different situation but I’m guessing you don’t shop around much? A video on where you park up would be really helpful

There is only a few that are open spread across the uk. Obviously in the winter I’m less likely to use them for that reason.
