I feel that the gravity after a certain point has diminishing returns on MPG, maybe if the air resistance was changed depending on the planet it would have a even greater effect.

@@Drajwin it does, just not on a high level, you can feel how a race car with no wing immediately oversteers and you can hear/feel the air resistance on your car when going fast

I hope car manufacturers will takes notes of this eventually and realise that the proper way to make a car is make it smaller and lighter instead of making it bigger and heavier with an engine way too underpowered for it.

So many shitboxes these days are basically what you described, gigantic and overweight yet powered by engines with no balls, that always need to be thrashed (constantly working in a zone where engines become horribly inefficient) just to get up to speed.

@@aaronbryan5095 Exactly, I'm currently a young driver and I use my mom's car to go to school. It's a Clio 4 TCE with a turbocharged 890 cm³ 3 cylinder engine and it weighs around a ton for 90 feeble horsepowers and tuned like ass. They have to abuse the hell out of the tiny turbo to get to that power. Probably the worst engine made by french car companies. 20 years before, for the same power, you could have an N/A 4 cylinder in a car which was much more compact and weighting around 200 kg less.

​​​@@dosh8276 does the turbo take a while before the boost comes on or is the engine just straight up gutless all the time? If so, I can understand why it feels frustrating to drive. Funnily enough, my car is pretty much that naturally aspirated 4 cylinder car from almost 20 years ago, a 1st gen 1.5L Toyota Yaris.

@@aaronbryan5095 The engine is gutless on lower gears. It has a 5 speed manual and because of this downsizing bs, they made the engine really low for its size, for that, they made the engine had all of the inertia. And the turbo is as loud as the engine, making the whole thing sounds like a vacuum cleaner like most grocery getters nowadays.

It couldn't even quite reach exactly 62 mph under Jupiter gravity, cruise control was trying to get it up there but it probably only managed like 61.6 mph at WOT and the speedo rounds to the nearest whole number, like 61.6 to 62.5 are both 62 mph.
