Good point. The point is there are skins you can own that don’t show up if you check unowned. So it’s tricky to calculate the exact total number of skins you can theoretically own.

Great video! Your previous videos about whaling certainly helped me be more efficient with collecting skins. I spend RP more for event tokens than skins so it's been a bit slow but I've been getting more high value skins these days now that I've taken a lot of the cheaper skins out of the table. I hope to one day collect all the skins in the game without over-spending and I'm 1/5th of the way there thanks to your help!

Why would someone want to have all the skins? I mean, I am sure you probably didn't use even a half of them. Even an almost one trick pony like me, who just play a small bunch of champs most of the times, I don't own all the skins of my favourite champs wich I played hundred of hours with each one. There are skins of my favourite champs that I don't like and I just don't want them. So a champ that I never play I have not any interest about getting any of his skins. I don't understand why people buy things that they don't use.

the problem with the video is, that the question was "how much money did YOU spend?" and not "how much does it cost to buy all the skins?"

You can safely assume I had to spend more than the amounts in the video since I bought a chunk of my skins at full price before skin shards were even a thing AND I bought quite a few champs before I could start getting each new champ for free with blue essence.

yeah, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that I didn't by my collection the cheapest way possible and so I spent more than the amounts discussed in the video -- I also spent a chunk of change buying champions back in the day, although I now have ample blue essence to get them all of course.

Thought there was a limit for mystery gifts, like if their skin pool was too small they can't get any more mystery gifts and ya gotta either buy chests or event orbs

There is a limit. So it only takes you so far. But you can get quite a few of them that way. Except you shouldn’t because you are going to get a bunch of 520rp skins that you should be using orange essence for. Which I explain in my how to whale series!

I really don't know how 440k RP are the accurate amount required to become a whale ! for example i need approximately 2000 skin shards to go whale so i did some math and figured it will cost me around 700-800k RP spent on event orbs . it blows my mind a little how you say you only need 440k even with a fresh account ! mine is stacked and it still requires a lot . so i would like some assistance...from an expert like boomer .

You should be able to get skin shards for 130-160rp each. That’s 390-480 rp per skin. And 260-320rp to buy legacy skins with orange essence. That brings the average down to 350-430 or so per skin. It can be done!
