As you have indicated the price of a decent boat is quite high ( circa £50k - £60k. Was it difficult to arrange finance ( assuming 2 students did'nt have a huge wad of cash. What is depreciation like?

That you tuber who quoted £790 added there monthly loan repayment to there monthly total which took it to £790. I deducted there loan repayment from there costs and it came to £281 to run the boat for a month. So roughly the same 👍. Also I don’t think the other KZbinr was on a permanent mooring so saved there, but there boat was older so we’re paying £80per month towards maintenance.

Not great I'm afraid Khaled! With that kind of budget you would be looking at boats over 40+ years old that potentially would come with lots of issues

£2 a day on heating? Nah that’s gotta be a lie. The guy works from boat, so heating must be on practically 24/7 in winter! You must burn 1 lump of coal at a time.

This was spread out over the whole year. I don't spend anything to heat the boat in summer so it evens out. Admittedly costs have climbed since last year.

We don't have the Canal and river trust we have Waterways Ireland. It only costs a small one off payment to register the boat.

Where are you mooring for it to be so cheap??? I can't find anywhere for less than £250 and there is almost no chance of getting in there because it's so cheap

Our mooring has gone up recently we must do a followup video. However we live in N.Ireland which isn't as expensive as say England.
