Thank you, thank you, thank you for this whole series. I just booked a flight for me and my 11 year old daughter to go to Colombia for 3 weeks next summer. I came across your channel when researching and just binge watched the whole Colombia series. This vid is so great for budgeting, I especially love it as everything is in GBP. I’m probably going to be closer to a ‘flashpacker’ as we’ll only be staying in private rooms & Airbnbs due to my daughters age, but still want to experience as much as possible in our 3 weeks. XDDD Like I said I'm planning to go on a big trip (about 5 months), so of course I'm going to work for a bit and safe up "some" money before I go (I'm already saving), so I want to start traveling in January 2022 but I'm graduating next year in June (following the European system) XP. I want to start in Thailand because I've heard it's a great destination for beginner backpackers and after that I'm not that sure yet but I want to stay East and end my journey in South Korea (were I plan to get my first tattoo, that's why I'm already saving left and right). Sooo those are my plans, what about??? XDD

I tried the flashpacker thing😳 My first ever solo trip for 2,6 months to guatemala mexico and nicaragua, ended up beeing a major flashpacker trip without me realizing. Came home and found out i spend 8,5k in that time period. Amazing time but wouldn't do it again! Traveling longer is always the better choice 😇

Think I’m a Flashpacker+ 😂😂 I would say I normally lean towards cheap hostels and camping, but that’s because I’m all about the food drink and hiking! When it comes to food and drink, i consider that the same as activities, so I purposefully spend a lot on food. Luckily my main activity is hiking which is normally free, so really I travel to hike and eat copious amounts of food haha. I do standby by: don’t skip on something that will make the experience better to you. If you think it’s too expensive, it almost never is, you just need to direct your funds or increase your income to account for it. Don’t settle, strive to thrive!
