Not everyone could pull this off like you two. You are young, attractive, personable, energetic, and you keep your viewers with much respect. I sure there are many times when you just don’t feel like filming, narrating, splicing, uploading, etc. However, I for one, thanks you!

I started watching your vids back in the Trawler days and an impressed with how much you have both grown. I followed a similar path as I started out with an old 30 foot sea ray then moved on to a 40 year old Hatteras 37C then on to a 1972 Hatteras 45C. Each was bought for around $25K and needed upgrades. You hit on it. Budget and prioritize repairs and upgrades. You guys are lucky you are young and doing it right. You can do much of the work yourselves. Saves a ton. I'm now retired and spending most of my time on my 45 in Ensenada Mexico. Labor is so reasonable I don't have to do it myself. Love the channel, wish you well and stay safe. Mike

Great video guys! I see a lot of full time KZbin sailors do "how much does it cost" videos, but almost none do any "how we earn our money" vids. This is the real barrier to most people who want to live this lifestyle and could be even more helpful to viewers looking to live their sailing dreams. Most people can probably figure out how to adjust a budget to their needs, but most probably can't figure out how to consistently make money while sailing full time. Thanks again!

Hey guys. Don't pay attention to the negative people. You guys are living the dream. There will always be the jealous people out there wanting to make themselves feel better by talking bad about others. I am hoping to transition over to doing something similar to you guys in a couple years. Only difference is I will be about 30 years older with no experience (I watch to learn from you). Keep up the good work and keep living your dream.

Great video! I truly love to watch your adventures and am so grateful for the free content. You're always going to have a few jokers who are bizarrely angry that you make money on youtube and assume you're rolling in six figures a year. I never can understand why others resent someone doing well for themselves. It doesn't matter what you say, they'll judge. Knowing someone involved in social media, while there are some nice perks, it's a LOT of work. Just recording the content and getting good shots and several angles is a lot of work and time consuming. The equipment is costly too. Not to mention the time spent editing! People can't know what they don't know... what are you gonna do? But you two are always positive and grateful and it shows! And I honestly hope you are well paid for your hard work. I love watching and and it's FREE for me! I'm landlocked now, and I'd never get to see or enjoy this beautiful Earth and her gorgeous waterways were it not for youtuber's who take the time to share their adventures. Enjoy yourselves and your lives. You're good people. That goodness will return to you in so many ways. Remember this if you can. Some people will love you, and some people will hate you, and NONE of it, will have anything to do with you. People are in their own head, with their own ideas, and judging the world through their own lens/experience. Be true to yourselves and you will have great success. I'm sending love to you kids and wishes for safety and ease in your travels!✌🏻💕

Thank you so so much for the honesty and senserity in this video. It really helped me personally. I have no intention of starting a KZbin channel, but I recently put my house up for sale (last Wednesday) and when it sells I'm moving aboard my 50 year old trawler. I am also planing on living on the hook. Although from what I'm hearing it's becoming more and more difficult in areas like Florida, Georgia and the Carolina's. But I'm still going to try. My motto it's easier to apoligize for making a mistake then ask permission and be denied! Thanks Billy & Sierra truly a great video!

Great video. We (I) watch every one, by every sailor to learn. And it's needed. The fun videos the last decade are what attracts, the educational reality is what makes the goal available. In the next decade, the pioneers have already made the mistakes and gained the experience. That makes anyone with future plans safer, and that goal more attainable. Big thanks to you and all that paid their dues and sacrificed to help the rest of us. Tip my hat to you.

Greetings , and congratulations on your new boat!. Regarding your inboard diesels, I have crewed for 10 years on a 43 ' Gary Lidgard performance cruiser cat, mostly in Pacific Mexico. Owner built, the engine compartments are isolated by watertight bulkheads with all mechanical penetrations welll above the waterline near the top of compartments. The builder initially installed a pair of used 3-CYL Yanmars with saildrives. After a few years, trouble with one shift linkage required a rebuild. This is where his planning paid off. I assisted in hoisting the motor off its bed, unbolting the big sail drive gasket, and pulling the sail drive up on deck through the compartment. The skipper did dive to remove the prop. But the whole job was done with the Boat in the water. Of course, the Compartment was flooded, but the motor stayed dry up against the ceiling . There was a little fish swimming around inside for a while. Sailing is better than sanding. Big Wolfy

This is an insightful video! You two gave a lot of very personal financial information. Really good information! It was pretty interesting. You two have done videos like this before, I think. My memory is so bad. I could be wrong. Sailing and having a life like yours is a dream for a lot of us. I know you two put a lot of hard work into it. I know that it's not all pleasure. I've been following your channel for about 2 years now and seen some of the crazy hard work you guys put into your boat. Plus, I done some binge watching of your older videos from years ago, and your more recent historical videos that you put out. I love these videos and they give me an escape from the craziness of life, especially now with the Covid-19 outbreak. I took a few days off from work because some of my coworkers are acting up with fear of contracting this virus. It was more than I could stand so I'm home right now for a couple extra days. I'm a government worker required to continue working. I was suppose to transfer and move to the Palm Beach area, but this virus has put a hold on this plan. Anyways, Love your adventures and seeing Jetty! Hopefully, Sierra, you can get back to Adrenaline soon. I can't imagine Billy sailing her on his own to the US Virgin Islands. Please stay safe, Billy! Keep Jetty safe, too! All the best, you 3!
