Not right now, 3 shifts in 6 days 80% of drivers were on call so you get called in then u wait anywhere from 10 to 48 hours off, u can't plan when to be home, they pay well with a schedule if you stay for 5+ years. It's on call, your their bitch. About 40 drivers were let go or quit from my terminal in Cali, trucks just sitting now.

This guy was P&D for 9 months switched over to LH and he told me it’s better but my P&D trainer who also trained him told me that he got laid off for 4 months being LH. Go to other carriers for linehaul OD pays cpm while other carriers pay hourly no need to drive fast when hourly.

I worked on the the dock for OD for years. Really rough hours but I heard that has changed since I quit working there. Never drove though. Other guys liked going from the dock to driving. I would have been bored driving. I liked loading freight. Stowers seemed to have the best job along with weights and measurements guys. Stayed busy but out of the cold. The major complaints all dock workers had was that they didn’t pay overtime until people reached 60 hours so they routinely worked people as close to 60 hours as possible. I was working my life away
