Can someone give me a single reason, as to why i need a permit to install solar in MY OWN house?... im absurdly curious about it.. its just mafia? Or there are actually fair reason?

Installing solar involves safety concerns. Those panels are connected to the electrical grid and any mistakes can cause a fire. The other issue is poorly installed panels will fly off during wind events. So there is a fair reason for a permit. But unfortunately, many townships tack on large permit fees. Thanks for watching.

@@MySolarHomeUSA but those aren't reason at all.. i never said i should install it myself, of course you need professionals doing the job.. what i asked is why should i ask for permission???? Its like if i need a permission to ride a car , you take a driving license and you drive, and you can kill people while doing so.. but for panels i have to ask for "permission?" i just can't get why

@@WastedTalent83@ WastedTalent83 The permit is like a license. You don't need permission to install solar. You just have to prove that you installed solar correctly and safely. Professional installers get this certification / permit approval done as part of the job.

@@MySolarHomeUSA aaaah ok , because when people use the word "permit" it sound like it can be denied without a proper reason. But if the only problem is like "not safe place or the roof is weak etc" i understand that.. ok thanks for clearing it up^^
