Great video and challenge, last year we budgeted for around $150 per day for the two of us and we did shockingly well, so much that we were under budget for some days and could splurge a little later in the week. I feel like if you are more set on experiencing the park options, including food, and less on merchandise, you can do pretty well on a budget. It's generally the SWAG that gets you more than you'd think. Especially during events.

IF you stick to just theme park food. We LOVE that Universal allows outside foods to help stretch that budget. Plus saves time for more rides to snack from the hippack while in lines and sit to eat later in the day while recharging!

Just watching this made me realize I haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to Universal food lol!!! I'm still upset I haven't had a crepe yet 😂 (what was I doing 🤦🏽🤷🏽)!!! I was probably worried about my budget (that's the excuse I'm going with lol). Unpopular opinion: I had high hopes for that potato salad at Today Cafe....🤔 it's....🤢 lol. Another informative and entertaining video! Since we always stay on-site, we alway budget a huge amount for food since we don't rent a car. We usually "Instacart" bottled water and Gatorade to our hotel, as well as snacks. On a tangent...... Something I always have to ask cast members at the beginning of every UO Resort visit is, "Where may I smoke". I know it's an unpopular topic, but the smoking areas occasionally move. Some people might want to know to avoid them. My favorite place to smoke/relax in the shade is in IOA, lakeside, just outside Backwater. I grab a Dewar's, and enjoy my smoke/vape while watching Hulk. It's a great place to meet people from Europe; especially the UK.

I totally forgot to try the $4 potatoes (Wizarding World) on my trip. Who-hash and a Powerade are a bit pricey but make a great breakfast. Croissant Moon in Port of Entry has breakfast croissants that I think are a good size for the money.

Croissant moon is one of our favorites! Also, might be worth considering a freestyle cup instead of buying a Powerade. You can get Powerade all day with it for not much more, especially if you’re just renewing it for the day!

They actually have several vegetarian/vegan options! One of our favorites is the crispy cauliflower at minion cafe. I don’t even like cauliflower and love it! They have beyond meat (or other meat alternative) burgers and such all around the parks! Also cheese pizza if you’re not vegan!
