Hey Humphrey, I don't often comment on things but I wanted to add to your appreciation for how far you've grown by telling you how much your channel has helped me grow. I started my financial journey in 2020, and I found your channel in 2021. I am behind where I should be, in my 30s with a lot of student debt and a retirement account that only goes back 2 years, but I have been gaining knowledge and making up for lost time every day, and you have been a big part of that learning process. I managed to max out my Roth IRA contribution for the first time this year, a big milestone for me, and I am getting comfortable with risk management in my investments, and most of all I have clear goals with what I want to accomplish and a timeframe for doing so. Very encouraging. KZbin does need persistence. It’s harder for me to be patient cause I make chunks day trading or through affiliate marketing and selling domains. KZbin initially feels like a lot of effort for little results but it does actually eventually payoff. It’s worth it.

I think it is also good to not have videos that are too long. 10-20 minutes is about all I can tolerate. I follow a guy and every video is an hour and 15 minutes. No way I am going to watch that. But I like your content. Keep it up.

I’m the exact opposite. Due to the material I watch I generally think that 10-20 minutes isn’t enough time to discuss what the video claims to discuss. If I video title says “why X show is the greatest show” your video can’t be 20 minutes and be accurate, it just can’t. That’s not enough time to accurately explain a 100 episode show and why it’s great or whatever thesis you have. But that’s specific to what I watch I guess.

Sounds good until you split $523k into 4 years. Thats roughly 130k per year. For one person. With no 401k, 403b match or RSU or health insurance... I'd imagine you have a team to help with edits. Say 2 people. Split that revenue 3 ways then taxes taken out. Not as lucrative as i thought... except maybe if you can consistently make $300-400k per year... It is definitely a good channel with informative videos.
