A little tip, don't send the C message to that number. It costs 3 lei + VAT, which is high above the standard 2.5 lei you can pay through the cards for STB/Metrorex. Just make those cards for STB/Metrorex and then charge them at their respective booths when u run out. U save money this way.

@@FoxxNoah Hmm I'm pretty sure you can go to the lady at the booth at the Metro and the booths for STB (i dont know which is close to u or where u live, but there's one at Piata Romana, Unirii, Timpuri Noi, Eroii Revolutiei etc). It generally says STB on them and for the metro you already know i guess haha.

@@FoxxNoah Or alternatively if you're hell bent on not making a card with STB/Metrorex, u can pay by card in the bus/tram and metro entrance gates beacause it's just 3 lei and not applying VAT. Just make sure u can show that u paid in case the STB workers requesf it. 1 hr 30 min still applies.

If you use Google Wallet/Apple Pay you can just touch your phone to the POS inside the bus and it takes automatically 3 lei. However, some of them don't read cards even though they should, so just to be 100% sure, just go to a counter, get a STB card and charge it with a couple of fare's and you should be good to go. (the lady will ask how much money you can put on it, just put how much you feel ok and that's all :) )

Who taught you this method of paying for bus and subway? You can pay directly with the debit/credit card and there's also an application of the phone free of charge to install, where you get bus tickets, if you don't want to use the specific bus card that you can recharge! Never send texts to "small" 4 digit numbers, as those are usually a lot more expensive than what you'd normally pay. The MINIMUM legal pay in Romania is 480 euros, if you get less than that means you're working on black market. The medium pay is 1k euro. Please do a search before misinforming. Thanks!

Girl someone woke up grumpy!! Thanks for the advice on the transportation tho!! I did not misinform I said around 400 euros, this means every number between 400 and 499, and as someone who was looking for jobs last year I can say that the regular pay is around 800 euros not 1k, it also depends on many factors, the kind of job your searching the degrees you have, the languages you speak. And also as I said before, this is all from my experience, this means that all I said is what I have seen so far; this is not misinformation. Have a very nice day😊

Nice video. Btw, minimum salary is currently 740 euro (3700 lei), which in the global ranking is rather high. And in January it is likely to go up again and reach around 800 euro (4000+ lei) or even a little more. Which is really not bad and surpassing other European countries. Of course salaries in the big cities, especially Bucharest, are much higher than that, for desired jobs. Anyhow, glad you're enjoying Romania and keep having fun!

I hope salaries increase, but unfortunately I’ve seen many job offers in which the net salary is 2800 lei with out bonuses and stuff and I miscalculated a bit, that would be around 500 euros, not 400 but that’s is still a thing and I think it is unfortunate even more in Bucharest. Of course I am not complaining haha I come from way worse, but I have hope that this will get better☺️ Thank you so much for your comment🥰
