Nice mods thx for going over your setup, been enjoying seeing it get better and better! I have several of the same on my Frs. Although I changed out my duckbill for the Sard lsr clamp on wing and painted it flat black! Looks nice and is easy to remove.

how bad is a pop tune for the stock front pipe? im currently running catless headers and invidia n1 and dont really feel like collapsing that secondary cat in there. would a light pop tune damage the cat? if not what base timing do you recommend running to not seriously mess up the cat until i can find some front pipes in stock somewhere haha

i would stay away from the pop tune if you are catted. A light pop tune won’t damage the cat right away but overtime it would. Stay under -7 for the base timing ! hope that helps👍🏽

Have you put it on a dyno to see what your numbers are at? Im curious about how much more HP/Torque you got out of the mods. I have the OFT for my FRS. I got it to help with the torque dip (which it does) but have not added any bolt ons because im not sure they would add enough to justify the cost. Thanks

unfortunately i havent yet put it on a dyno, there are multiple charts online showcasing the power gains with headers & a tune on the dyno however. In my opinion i think its def worth the money. Hope that helps 🔥

@@ARHAMALVIthanks for replying. is there a noticeable gain to the acceleration? My goal is to come out of corners with more power. It would really help my track times. I love my car but it is underpowered. Currently, it's about 150HP and torque to the wheels. The goal is to hit around 200, that's what I think it needs (though more is always better lol). I researched sc's and turbos but 10k is way to much. When I run e-85 with the oft tune, it feels like a good 10-15hp difference. If I can add another 30 from bolt-ons and keep the price to around 2-3k max, I would do it.

@@riftur7636 yes i did notice a difference with the bolt on. I feel like its a little faster with acceleration. Its not a huge change tho. I spent less then $500 on my headers so for the gains that I got id say its worth that price. I feel like the headers will help u get near the 200hp goal without boosting the car

hey, unfortunately yes they are. I have had one in the GTA area for about 3 years now and haven’t had much trouble with it.+ I am much louder than just a muffler delete rn. But yes if you are tryna avoid getting pulled over than i would not do it. 👍🏽 hope that helps!

well you do have a fair point. For Amazon or even Ebay parts, I only go for the ones that have good reviews 👍🏽 if it over 1000 5 star reviews its a pretty safe bet. Same with Ebay parts. Also I am not buying things such as coilovers/turbokits, widebody kits etc off Amazon or Ebay. Its only small items like lights or aero pieces. Then if anything goes wrong, they have pretty good return policies

Yeah you would need to tune, It’ll be much better for the car and you won’t see that CEL with the tune 🔥 hope that helps!

boxers can handle a turbo. You can’t just run high boost. Keep it low, but u can still get 300WHP 👍🏽

congrats on the 86! so far I haven’t had any legal issues with my setup and it’s been more than a year of daily driving. there definitely is that risk but if you are aware of cop presence and not really disturbing neighborhoods/people. you should be fine 👍🏽 hope that helps

these cars aren’t worth the performance mods. They’re slow and even after FI it’s still going to be slow/unreliable so i didn’t bother. Still got a lip kit (front lip, diffuser, side skirts) lighting headlights,taillights & 4th brake light) wheels, tires suspension, exhaust tune and more. Thanks for watching the video though 👍🏽

car went from springs to coilovers, new tailights, new headlights. new aero as in diffuser, front lip & duckbill + roof visor. Stance changed up. Added some camber in the fronts with camber bolts + windshield tint to give it a darker look. + theres many more mods that I am probably forgetting right about now. But I can agree it’s still the same wheels plus the car is the original colour so It still looks the similar but there was thousands more put into the build 🙏🏽 still hope u enjoyed the vid!

@@ARHAMALVI oh that's nice to hear. The tint or especially the exhaust here would have you fined up to 5.000€, plus your plates are taken away until you build your car back to base. Only then you get them back and can drive again. Also the headlights, taillights, your ride height, license plate holder or wheels are illegal here and would have the same effect when you are inspected by the cops. They have no chill here 😥
