I agree with some others that this is a good chance to evaluate how you’re using your categories. Medicine could come from medical, diapers from baby, etc. It might help to get more detailed if you really want to crack down on your spending 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you don’t have the Walgreens app, I would definitely download it and order what you need for pick up. Because Walgreens prices are a lot cheaper online than in store. Plus you can add all the coupons and Walgreens cash if you have any saved up. We use to be able to show the sales associate the online price and they would change it but they stopped price matching. Great video!

I think you’ll find it to be worth it. It’s a lot of work to track but when I track my expenses I split the receipt into the applicable category so the envelopes don’t get depleted for expenses that wouldn’t fit for that envelope if that makes sense. And when I first started it was a big wake up call when I saw how much I was spending a Dutch Bros each week 😅 but in the long run I’ve managed to save much more being more mindful 😊 also I love your penmanship; I have chicken scratch writing 😂

How about a medical category for medicine (over the counter, prescriptions, anything health related. The spending category needs to be broken down otherwise when looking back that doesn’t explain what it was spent on.

Easier on the budget is dollar tree, dollar general and family dollar! They carry the same medicine, if not similar, to most stores for a fraction of the price 😊
