If its the writing being the wrong way round and it missing dots they are not errors they are just the way they are. Its 50/50 on the writing and most £2 coins have dots missing.

If it was a mint condition coin in packaging, those were sold for £10 new so £9 is about right. If it's a coloured silver proof, those were worth about £60 new and may have actually increased in price due to demand. If it was a normal, bog standard circulating 2016 Peter Rabbit then it's worth 50p to maybe a pound, and the shopkeeper was an idiot...

Took it in and it was in pretty decent condition very shiny and didn't have any visible scratches and he said £9 and I was happy with that. Maybe it was the £60 one but I wouldnt have a clue.

There should be a card for the Olympics 50ps but from the march update I will be adding them to the 50p video, I think the duck is more than the newton is because of how popular it is but the newton price is starting to go up.
