You go girl I work in cardiology and many people are over fed and under nourished and deficient in magnesium as well as other vitamins and minerals anyway I started taking around 1200 mg sometimes after hard gym workouts because now in my 50’s getting back in shape in painful dang it!!! We give a continuous magnesium sulfate drip to pregnant women who we do not want them to deliver yet and it completely relaxes all their major muscle groups and inhibits contractions everyone in OBGYN knows this a continue drip sometimes for days anyways you can take a fair amount of magnesium and it used to be given minimum 500mg plus for constipation……it works and helps clean you out best side effect ever besides feeling relaxed…get it girl!!!! Spread the good news!!!

Blessings sister, amazing information. I've really been trying to figure out the dosage. I have (doctor's best magnesium gly) at 105 mg. How much should I be taken? It says 25% daily value. Or should I say how many caps..

@@jermaineholmes3531 at only a 100 mg hmm doesn’t seem enough really my guess it takes a double dose of 200 and see how you handle it if good then try 300 I personally take a triple magnesium version citrate glycinate and one other anyhow I get the best effect and all my muscle soreness gone after about 800-1200mg but for you Inwould gradually work my way up til you get the desired result like muscles relaxed or no Charlie horses or constipation relieved with a good movement or even a bad headache.

I took a double dose of the powder form I have (800mil) and I think its ok. I had some chronic upper back pain that I could not put a finger on. I took a dose in the morning and then before bed. When I woke up I finally felt relief after months of dealing with this ache😮‍💨. It’s interesting though that people are not this nit picky when it comes to sugar/caffeine consumption throughout the day in their lives. We need more magnesium then we may think. I definitely would not consider 1000mil overdoing it.

I was taking magnesium citrate for years and had to be careful not to take too much or it would give me bathroom issues. I switched to magnesium glycinate at 400mg and didn’t have those issues but it didn’t seem to help with sleep and muscle tension the way the other did. I’m gonna try a bigger dose and see how that works

I was taking 400 mg of magnesium glycinate before bed and it would always give me severe heart palpitations to where my heart was pounding fast and I couldn't fall asleep. As soon as I stopped taking the magnesium it went away. I might try lowering my dose and see if it still causes issues.

So, the daily dosage maximum 350 mg for women and 450 mg for men is for elemental magnesium.

I started taking it a couple of weeks ago along with MK-7 and one of them or both together may be lowering my BP to the point where I may not need my BP meds anymore. Been checking my BP several times throughout the day and my diastolic never even hits 80 now. This is coming from a guy who has been on BP meds for over 40 years.

If you're getting upset stomach then you should take magnesium bisglycinate or glycinate they're both the same.

No not potassium supplements. Get your potassium from food instead. Many foods contain potassium but not very many contain magnesium. Also it helps make your vitamin d3 and k2 work a lot better ( magnesium bisglycinate ). Make sure your k2 vitamin is the mk7 type or mk4. Don't take more than 120 MCG of the k2 regardless of how much vitamin d3 you take. Watch dr Eric Berg on KZbin and search for the specific thing you're looking for because he's got many many videos.

@@ravireddyism Yes. However, my problem was low Calcium. So, I stick to 2:1 ratio Calcium 600mg/Magnesium citrate 350mg. Gradually reducing oxalates and adding diary back in my diet.

When is a good time to take that before bed and should you eat it with a healthy meal or healthy fat.? Another doctor on KZbin says take it near bed time and with healthy fats or with something since it is a fat soluble.. Even the package says take it with a meal..

It depends how often you take it. If you have 60 capsules and take it once a day that’s 60 days. He’s says 240 on her bottle and I have a 240 as well.

So if the RDA recommendation is 100-400, how is 150 therapeutic? Can you explain? I wouldve thought taking 2 per day to get 300 would be closer to the max 400, being better. But im no doctor or nutritionist 😂

Soooo why wouldnt you save money and just buy 150 mg?? ..the higher the mg usually higher price...and by doing your own homework..id deduce the company could be shady ..promoting something as 1000 mg when its only 150 mg is misleading.....

It’s not misleading it’s a matter of reading the label as this is 1000 mg of magnesium glycinate not elemental magnesium.

Not with magnesium glycinate as it’s the most bio-available form. Other forms have a laxative effect like magnesium oxide and citrate
