I got lucky! Went in to order a 2022 Raptor in Feb, they said you hit the lottery, just got allocated one on chip hold the night before. Wasn’t my first choice of color but I reserved it. Will be here in 2-4 weeks and my dealer is honoring the sticker price of $81k.

Congrats! And yea sounds like you did hit the lottery. Like hearing dealerships doing the right thing and selling at sticker when most are not operating that way in current climate. Hope it arrives soon for you!

They have to do a dealer add on because they only make like 2k on a Raptor..but they have already paid for the truck..2k is not enough profit for that truck when you look at from a dealer perspective..it also gives them a little negotiating room mark up 10k..take off 2k..now making 8k on truck instead of 2k..if you invested 75k wouldn't you like more than a 2k profit. So in reality the dealer isn't trying to rip you off..just trying not to go out of biz..gotta give the salesman a cut to..The Ford Festiva the dealer makes less than 100.00 profit on that model..sales doesn't even offer them unless customer asks

Congrats on your truck! I just got my 22 CO 37PP after waiting over 8 months for it. The wait was worth it for MSRP. Also the Gen 3 is better than the Gen 2!

I ordered a TRX and was able to get in at MSRP. 👍🏻 I have officially left Ford, but keeping my 2013 Raptor because of that glorious V8.

Having a good relationship with your preferred dealership is essential to getting cars at a good price. I just picked up a 22 Raptor with the 37 package that i paid the 2021 msrp price. I understand the lure of getting one, but still can't stomach paying 10k+ when just recently paying MSRP was considered getting screwed. Either way congrats on the truck!!

Just got mine in late Jan after I contacted a dealer in early August of 21, they didn't have any allocations at the time but I planted my seed. Got The call in middle of October that a buyer for some reason couldn't come through and they gave me the allocation at MSRP. I did almost buy one from a dealer that had it 5k over msrp but they sold before I could get it, glad I didn't buy it. I'm in love with my truck.

I just got my 2021 Gen 3 37 package I’m from cali and the mark up was 30k plus they modified it to add extra cost Total was $137k Financing came out to $153k Yea I think you got a awesome deal!

Congrats on your truck! I’ve heard up to 50k over in Cali, but I mean like you said not many of these out there at all. I’ve seen only 3 in person so far. People are willing to pay more for something exclusive

That’s actually not horrible all things considered. Your truck is worth $90k plus right now. I was lucky enough to order my 22 at MSRP and got 67k for my 19.

Nice, awesome you were able to order at sticker. I had difficulty finding a place that had allocations for taking an order so was lucky to be able to find a dealer order. And yea residual values on these things are insane. Agreed not bad, don’t mind a little markup if I’m still walking out with equity from the start. What I don’t get is I’ve only seen three of the gen3s in person total so makes sense they’d be marked up. At the same time people are paying 15k over sticker here for new broncos and I see those everywhere

@@MatthewBrownVlog how did u sell and how much were u able to get for the x3m and m2 I sold my m2 for 55k with 36k miles I’m waiting on ordering the new m2 and I was thinking about selling my wife’s x3m for the new x7 but I know I’m asking a lot but would appreciate the info

@@iammrwoogie I sold it to the dealership I bought my raptor from for around 75k. Probably could’ve got 77-78 if I’d shopped it around a bit more but was trying to get deal done. And in case you leased definitely easier to sell it directly to BMW dealership rather than any other brand dealership but if you were looking at swapping for an X7 wouldn’t be an issue. @@MatthewBrownVlog no I didn’t lease I’m just not sure if the x7 being that it will be substantially slower than the x3m but I’m for sure looking g forward to the next gen m2 I’m number 4 on my dealership list and luckily they are a no mark up dealer ik some dealers are charging 20k adm but being number 4 it might be awhile before I get my hand on one

@@iammrwoogie got ya, yea I actually test drove a X7 m50 recently and love the twin turbo v8 but it’s just bigger than I would want. We ended up ordering an X5 m50 for my wife instead and will be on the channel later this summer. Yea may be awhile waiting on the new M2 but hopefully will be well worth it when it does show up

Dealer 'market adjustments' create such ill will. That and adding BS accessories like nitrogen in the tires and all the rest create such ill will in the customer base. All this represents the death throes of the 'dealer model' of selling cars. Buying online and waiting is the only way to go. Currently waiting on a F150 Tremor at MSRP. Last year I waited for 4 months for my Tesla Model Y (current wait is 8+ months). Got exactly the vehicle I wanted - nothing more, nothing less - MSRP. I built the Tremor with what I wanted and nothing more. Ordered the Tremor 4/6. It's due at the dealership 6/14-6/21.
