Of course none of the money earned by this game can ever replace the feeling of coming home at the end of a long, hard day to my beautiful collection of set 2 Wild Wing copies.

When you make any tabletop game or TCG game it’s not about the money first. It’s about how much fun you and other like playing your game and how popular it gets. Making lots of money comes later on if your game does really well.

I hope this community grows. I think we just need more people making quality cards like Zach here. It's good to have people making the somewhat poorly done stuff, too, but it's not as likely to draw more people in. On that note, I'm soon to be a professional graphic designer and I already do professional art, so if anybody wants some help improving I'd love to help. I want to see this community grow.

I've honestly never played a tcg except Zenonzard more recently, yet since 2019 I've had a side project of writing my own tcg. It's so much fun coming up with card effects, polishing the rules, and designing cards. I enjoy the process, and it helps that my other projects, that I've been working on for years, provide the characters and lore for the tcg. Love your videos man, you're an inspiration 💙

JokerArt when you say make, do you mean how many new cards I create?? That really varies, sometimes I’ll make 3 cards in a day, other times I’ll go months without making a card when I’m busy! Hey, Zack. Since we're on the topic of money here, I have a question. Is there any fee or cost at all to selling cards on the game crafter? Like, could you put stuff on for free, and then start making money from it, or is there an initial cost to even begin having your stuff sold? Anything at all that comes out of your bank account in any way along the way from when you get a card made to when it gets shipped to the buyer.

Few ways: Practice. You're going to suck at first but the more you draw, the better you get. I suggest getting artbooks, and studying them. One way, to improve card quality is to collab with an artist. This gives you more time to focus on making rules and refining gameplay. Quality is usually decided on the gameplay for most homemade TCGs. Art is second.

i've never played this card game of yours but one of the most important things about pretty much anything these days is how it looks, and these packs look horrible. the font logo isn't a huge problem but it's very simple and unimaginative and it doesn't really give an impression of any kind really. bland green text with a line over it, ok? then the biggest problem for me here is that the planet and the characters on the most left pack look like they've been drawn by a kid. (no offence). what every tcg and every other kind of game needs is a cohesive theme and artstyle. you'd be surprised how well your game would be selling if you hired someone to draw the characters and all of the other art digitally. BTW this is not a hate comment, i'm just expressing my toughts cuz i see that you're really passionate about this so i wanted to give a piece of advice :)

I would request that you work on advertising to really hit the areas with people that are into TCG:s, not from an economic view. I know that you can buy some sort of advertising on Instagram, mabye set up a twitter account, a reddit account, really just advertise on the social platforms that you have access to. I mean, every new follower and person that likes what you do is a + right? I don't know if you alredy have a Patreon thing that people can donate to, but if you don't have one, you should at least consider setting up one. I mean, you have spend hours of hard work and money to make this for us, your followers. We should be able to give you something back to support you.
