I started paper trading first. I went live when I hit 5 million paper trading. I started a live account with $25 weekly(training account) on mt4. I didn't put more $ in until I made $1000 without over leveraging. I blew my trading account a few times and it was a long journey, but I'm glad I took it. I passed the 1k mark and other pdt 25k mark. I'm currently working on my first 100k mark

Also paper trading doesn't translate to how you feel emotionally with real money. You can make 100k paper trading, but when you used real money and you lose 1k, you're gonna get emotional about it and either makes you want to quit or make mistakes to chase that loss

Realistically you can use even under $100 if you actually pay attention to the markets and know what’s going on far as profits / losses. Question is are you disciplined enough to take the profits and call it a day or take a loss and come back when the set up comes again.. You can’t just hit the market thinking your gonna get in and make money.. You gotta see what’s going on and it might not be a good day to trade.. If you aren’t disciplined you’ll just forget all that and try anyway.. That’s when you lose all your money.

Little profits will add up n absorb any small losses. The cost of doing this business is losing trades. Keep em small n youll stay in the game.

Well not true bro..what Pattern Day Trader (PDT) does is, it limits you to only three day trades per week. But you can swing trade as many times as you want. Also you can switch to cash account to avoid PDT. (PDT applies to margin account) That's in the stock market, I don't know about other markets.
