Finally a youtuber that is transparent and true about their KZbin stats and income! I'm about 200 hours away from being monetized and slowly growing my channel, I hope one day I get to your level :3

But is that our future? Instead of earning money with useful things/work everybody is going to make videos? Most people who don't look as nice as Ruri will earn more money per hour with normal work like translating texts or selling foods. It would be interesting to know how much time Ruri spent in total for her videos and calculate her hourly revenue - I'm sure it's less than a delivery boy earns.

@@dirkbecker2961 to be fair I don't think Ruri is where she is just because of looks, she's been working really hard on KZbin and for quite some time too. May be she's now at the point where she doesn't have to work as hard as before, and good for her! But even then that doesn't take away the merit of making all these videos and quality content she provides. Naturally, Ruri isn't selling her time like a delivery boy would, what she does every time she makes a video is she's creating an asset, each video is an asset and as her channel grows each asset is more valuable, it's normal that she'll be far more profitable than someone working by the hour (ie, selling their time and labour) just as now that delivery boy is far more profitable than my channel is, will I ever be at the profit level of Ruri? It's impossible to know, I can only work hard and be consistent and hope one day I will.
