It was great you meet your goal. I have been on Etsy since 2017 and have only sold 7 wreaths. I have taken class after class, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’m about ready to quit but I have so much supplies! Oh well sorry I didn’t mean to unload on you. Again Congratulations

Thank you, Debbie! And I’m so sorry you’re struggling. I hesitate to make videos like this sometimes because I don’t want those who are struggling to feel down about their own shops. It could be many different things that are going wrong. Are your wreaths the style that sells well? Are your pictures high quality? Are you marketing your wreaths off of Etsy through social media and Pinterest to get that momentum? Etsy is a mix of getting eyeballs to your shop (traffic) and making a high quality item that people are looking for. I hope that helps!

Thank you for sharing! Yes important to note that you profit about half of what they have listed as revenue. I did 10k my first year in revenue but all makers do need to understand the fees, cost of good, shipping labels etc and have a real idea of their take home. Im making more items at a higher cost going into this year while also keeping a mix of lower priced items and I can see how my take home will grow in 2022, Bravo, you inspire us all!

Yes that is so important, which is why I always mention that. In previous years I made a point to break down those numbers more specifically, but I haven’t added it it all up yet. But it’s always right at half. You did great your first year! Amazing! Best of luck to you in 2022!

I just love your hair, you remind me of pictures of my mom when she was about 22.. congratulations on a good year.. hopefully we can get those ships to unload and get stuff to stores asap... I know first hand Joann's, and Michael's all got truck loads of Christmas stuff the day after Christmas..and have put it on the floors, .. Happy to share! The income I showed in this video was just what I earned from Etsy. My KZbin income and VIP group income is in addition to what I shared in the video. My KZbin is mainly with my iPhone. I do have lights in addition to that, and Final Cut Pro for my husband to edit. And another thing for music (I don’t remember what it’s called). That’s about all the expenses for my KZbin channel. Then my VIP group is hosted on my website, so I have a pretty high monthly expense with that, but not too bad.
