i think people really want to like him because he's in this show they like, but from what i've seen of him dming people who run fan accounts of him and saying he doesnt like them because they arent solely dedicating their account to him, commenting on a fan edit that he didn't find it impressive enough to share, bullying this kid who posts vids of himself skateboarding for some reason, telling people to kill themselves, he definitely has an ego. he also apparently said millie bobby brown must be gay if she doesn't want to date him since she asked him to please stop stalking her basically. people can't just ignore that he has done questionable things, and his age is no excuse because most people of his age know not to do that shit and don't have such an ego on them. that said i don't know him personally obviously, and i'm trying to see a more positive side to him because i wanna be able to enjoy the show and i think he's very talented. i do find it kind of funny how people draw so many parallels between himself and five when it seems like who he plays as five might just be him channeling that side of himself that certain fans have been unfortunate enough to take the brunt of. i can see good things in his future and i hope he is able to get past this behaviour.
