I heard someone said that driving in automatic will ruin the transmission more and fast then using the "manual" mode. Is that true?

Not sure about that, but in my case I was using manual when driving with cold engine. In lower temperatures I was much smarter in case of what gear to choose and when it should be engaged. But was it safer for the gearbox? I don't know

It's more that running it in Normal mode rather than Sport and S-Sport will wear on the transmission more. In order to make smooth shifts in normal mode, the SST transmission slips the clutches more which creates more heat and debris (which dirties up the filter, wears on valve body, etc).

nah because AT is reliable asf... not DCT because DCT clutch can dry & that's why BMW now using ZF 8 speed Toque converter

Oh I agree. Better taking a risk on a Lancer Trans over a Nissan CVT though. At least one is repairable lol

Cars are a little overpriced for a glorified mom sedan but definitely slept on as well you don’t even need an evo to make them look and sound okay you can also get an Es and turn it into a lancer for cheap but that’s only if you want the look of you want power you pretty much have to start with an evo

Not true for the price of an evo you can build it for 500-600awhp including the ralliart itself. 10k for ralliart, 7k for upgraded gtx3576R tubular exhaust manifold fuel intake intercooler, $700 maintenance(oil, transmission, drivetrain) $900 tune, rear diff stronger and better than the evo x. $5-7k upgraded rebuilt trans(optional)

It wasn't my work, but previous owner bought this complete set from Aliexpress which was monitor (with android) with complete bracket with vents etc. There are many options to buy, most of them are plug and play

NGL i love SST Evo version... but why 241hp only because Mitsubishi claim 280hp? maybe they do Dyno on Engine power not from Tyre but hey, this engine you can tune around 400hp if you want because they have version call FQMR-440 with 400hp & less weight

Evo has 280, but it is just a ralliart so it has smaller turbo. It's baby-evo 😂

My 2011 lancer gts has 248k on it. Had 38k when i bought it. Been one of the most reliable cars until recently. Its at the end of the road soon. But its been great i can only imagine a ralliart is no different id get a rally but they’re almost impossible to find especially in manual and thats all ill drive is manual. Im talking miles not kilometers. Im in the states.

@@rikisaputrasamsujir1296 well it's reading through the OB2 I would assume, so maybe it's only getting crank numbers, whereas an actual dyno itself actually can read the wheel numbers as the car performs on the dyno itself.

@@mustang_headass dyno also read hp on wheel n engine. So why so saying that hp on engine not accurate? Manufacture also dyno engine and state their engine hp based on crank hp not on wheel hp.

Nope, just manual mode. It can even in normal mode, because it's all about staying in one gear all the time

Why should I add 5 or 10hp to the result? What I will earn with that? I'm not selling that car and it doesn't matter if it has 240hp or 140hp. For some older videos I didn't record screen directly from the app (it was my mistake), but right now I am doing that every single time :)

True, even in 2009 that technology was a little bit out of date. Too much turbo-lag, too heavy chassis... And now in 2023 decent version of golf with diesel engine is way faster 🤦‍♂️

these things are notorious for sucking gas lol. its like 13L per 100km city driving. Also yes it is pretty slow for what the car is, the drivetrain is heavy as hell. If I'm already overspending in gas for basically an economy car that takes 91 fuel I may aswell just get the 500hp daily. @@HoffyRS

Plenty quick for today still. 0-60 is like 6 flat iirc, faster by a large margin than all the 150hp or so crossovers and compacts that still dominate most of the road. Is the mpg good for the power, no.
