How much RAM do you REALLY need?

Disclaimer: I wrongly said GTA V needed 32 GB when it could run on 16 GB, my mistake in wording (it was made over a decade ago). That being said, GTA VI will probably run better on 32 GB, along with any other recent mid to high spec games.

Eh yeah that's fair I was just giving examples of games. 32GB is slowly becoming standard though.

As a gamer I only recently considered upgrading to 64 GB as CIV6 and some other games annnounced a "recommended" 32 GB. Didn't have any issues with 32 GB so far in any game. Usage usually sits at 50-70% in newer or ram intensive games(hosting MP sessions quite frequently without issue).

Just get 32gb and be done with it. Still rocking ddr4 probs like most peeps and modern games are hogging around 14+.

Exactly!! That's why once we hit 64 I started calling it overkill. Only thing it's needed for is things like adobe premier pro or something like that
