My take on this case: Most people (not all) require Ram: 3/4 GB Rom: 32/64 GB Android: upto last 3 generation Camera: dual rear, single selfie Price: 8k-15k That's optimal for average person, you should remember phone just like any electronic devices is a depreciating asset.

Note: sd cards are still useful only if you use them as a secondary storage in your phone. Storing photos and videos is a good option for sd card so utsav bhai your opinion on sd card is not totally correct half correct to assume

finally someone speak my mind. And that's the reason I am unable to find a phone within my budget ie, 15-20k. I would like a phone with 4-6gb ram (since i dont usually multitask), but with high storage, may be 256gb (as I need to store a lot of documents and images). And with phone and app companies increasing the size of the software, its really hard to accomodate space after sometime. I dont prefer external storage as it slows down the phone and also there is a chance of memory card crash.

My phone is 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory Samsung A6 plus and it is 5 years since I purchased it. No gaming and no photography. I use it just for WhatsApp, email and Facebook. You can utilize a smartphone for 10 years also. It varies from person to person. The phone will hang up on excess usage.

With todays high resolution Camera sensors the size of the images and videos are very much high. Having an SD card dedicated slot will always allow the user to have additional storage.... And also not everybody will have Computers or laptops to keep these files stored separately when the phone storage is full... And also with the increase in app data size with the periodic updates also hogs the internal storage of the smartphone. So Utsav Techie Bhai regarding your opinion on SD card makes less sense. So having a Dedicated SD card slot makes more sense no matter whatever the price range the smartphone is.👍
