You've summed up everything very well in the video! How is the pay and opportunities in Tech industry there, especially in Data science and AI

So finding a job in Dubai is difficult. But if you get an offer from a company, you can expect around 2.5 times of the pay in India. Taking into account no income tax, it becomes around 3X. As compared to USA, the pay is around 65%. Again income tax into account it works out to be 0.8-1 times in-hand.

I work in Business Bay, all good except the traffic congestion to enter and exit Business Bay.
@DesiTravellersDXBАй бұрын
Yeah. The traffic has been crazy lately. It takes so much time to look for cabs that the wifey actually takes the abra sometimes.

Sauna room = get steamy... not enough... go to the steam room! 😄 I like Business Bay. I've heard you can cycle to the beach from starting from the canal. That's my next goal next time in there. Internet is expensive...it's probably twice the UK amount for half as much MB/s.
@DesiTravellersDXB2 ай бұрын
Hehe yup. We had actually heard the exact same thing regarding the cycling. It is true... yet to try it though. It shows 7.5 kms on the map from the canal road. Regarding WiFi, is UK seriously that cheap?? We get 658 Mbps speed for 400 AED (£ 84)
@SA-cloud2 ай бұрын
@@DesiTravellersDXB Yes, it's that cheap in UK 🙄 AED 180 (£37) for 500 Mbps. In Dubai I'm paying AED 347 (super special discout 😒) with Du, for 250 Mbps... Don't worry, UK don't have much else which is good compared to Dubai...😆 Plus and minus, but Dubai is too nice at this time of year.

Hi there. I love your apartment it has a beautiful view. I live in USA and thinking to buy a apartment over there. do you know if you guys have a for sale apartment in your building. I am looking for one bedroom right now and how much would be in dollar.
@DesiTravellersDXBАй бұрын
Hi. So, our particular building has a single owner and the building is managed by an organisation called "Distinguished Real Estate". It not for Sale. However there are a couple building beside us where there are plenty of flats. There is 'The Pad by Omniyat" on our right which has 1BHK flats around $450-475k. On our left is a new building called 'Trillionaire by Binghatti' which is for around $550k-735k for 1 BHK; this one is super luxury with options of a personal pool/jacuzzi in the balcony.

Well, apart from it being the tallest building, we think the laser show is pretty kickass! At night it truly looks beautiful.

Well the rents are expensive in Dubai. A 2 BHK anywhere decent would cost you around 70k AED (16 Lakh). But on the flip side, you earn more, and pay zero income tax. Say, if your salary is 20L in India, you can expect around 50L in Dubai. The in hand would go from 1.25L to 4.16L per month. At those numbers a rent of 16L doesn't seem that daunting.
