From my experience moving to Malta, in order to live comfortably you must make at least 3,000 take home pay after taxes. If you are making less it is not worth it. The cost of living is higher than the wages.

I got a job offer for 3000€ each month. But still not sure if I should take it. Feel like everything is expensive there…
@NordicAdvRider4 ай бұрын
Yes, and that’s the reason Malta is only good to visit for a week of vacation. I really don’t understand why people with a low salary like 3000 after tax then rent an apartment that costs 1000 or more per month.
@milindbarve5833 ай бұрын
I guess if you are moving alone then 3000€ would be fine @@NordicAdvRider

Absolutely perfect job Jane👏🏼. The best video on it's kind. No promising words, no pessimistic comment, just pure numbers, logic and of course hummor(that is nussesery). Many people trying to avoid the problems of their own countries and on the way to find something better they see only the one side of the coin and they fall into traps. You will save many of them by making them think more wisely 😊. You remind me at 21 years old moving in Germany. Continue the good work 👍🏼. 💯% worth to follow your channel 👌🏼

Can you please help me to contact Malta Nurse? I like to work there as a nurse but want to research it first
@judybus19 ай бұрын
@@ZolanuZolanuit depends on which country you are coming from. Malta does not accept being a nurse and you might have to have extra schooling first. Many that I saw in the hospital thought they could work as a nurse but could only be carers.

Good heavens.OMG.. taxes and insurance are to be decucted from the salary.. unlike here , no deductions at all, insurance are shouldered by the company and no taxes as well.that's sad😔... Malta is X for me . I always wanted to move there pa nmn...

Basically you are living on the bread line in Malta if you are on a low to medium income you have no chance getting a 1 bedroom place on that kind of money rent is just way too high. I’ve heard that Malta has a serious waste problem beaches are covered in litter and the local bins are overflowing with rubbish such as shame as it looks really nice place its shares some similarities to Corfu in that respect. Unless you have a Maltese company that makes money from foreign sources to take advantage of the 5% corporate tax it doesn’t seem to me like a place you’d want to work the figures you have provided are very conservative things like internet and other expenses are yet to be added it will surely have you questioning your decision to move to Malta I know not everyone is going to have a pet but most people do I have a German shepherd and she costs me £144 on food and treats then there is frontline, worming tablets, grooming etc… to be added on top of that.

Hi.. 2900 euro per month, is it gross salary? It really depends on how you estimate the living expenses for yourself, but typically if the net salary is above 2000 euro net, it can be comfortable life for you. Again, it depends on your expenses 😊
