It depends what Plugins you use. I use my laptop for everyday use, plus music production and 512gb is more than enough for me. However I have all my samples (200gb) in dropbox, that syncs on my internal 1TB HDD.. I keep my SSD for Plugins and software. So 1.5 TB is enough for me. I would buy a good external 1TB instead of spending 400$ on an internal one.
