Recommendations for people on their 50s early 60s who are not ready for all year round living in Spain, but perhaps 1 or 2 months a year until we get to know exactly where we should live.is there public transportation on your town?

Marbella has a decent network of public busses but up in the mountains you’re better off with a car. Along the coast you’re fine. The old town centres are really good especially Estepona town centre as cars are not allowed in…. Its very walking friendly.

Thank you ☺️ Our cats have always been indoors back in the U.K and since moving here too. We do see cats often from other apartments coming to our terrace so I don’t see it being an issue, not at least in our complex.

Hola! ¿Dónde vives ahora? Nosotros vivimos en la zona de Benahavis, cerca de Marbella. Un problema que encontramos y mucha gente encuentra cuando viene la costa del sol, es el tema de alquileres a largo plazo. Muchos dueños solo quieren alquilar entre los meses de octubre y mayo, pero cuando llega el verano quieren alquilar a turistas. Échale un vistazo a la web de idealista. Ahí es donde encontramos nosotros alquiler a largo plazo. Con respecto a Malaga, es una ciudad que nos encanta. Mucha historia, mucho ocio, buen tiempo, comida buenísima y la gente fantástica. Definitely, but supermarkets in the U.K are quiet competitive tbh. Its the accommodation, travel, bills and socialising that costs a lot more there…. Basically everything but the supermarkets 😅
