Both the videos in this interview are extremely informative! I loved David's calm approach, it was very soothing. The entire series of interviews is great, but this specific fellow was my favorite so far.

He grows tentaculata in lowland conditions?
@WindowsillNepenthes6 ай бұрын
Yes, on Tom's Carnivores website you can read: "N. tentaculata is found at elevations of between 400 and 2550 meters." So there is lowland ones.

On my interview with Gianne, she arranged a small part of her tent to accommodate lowlanders ;)

I grow bical and amp with villosa and macrophylla you got this

@@Gehrungs_Greenhouse how long did you do that? I'm concerned about the health evolution overtime as they don't grow at the same condition in the wild.

@@WindowsillNepenthes about a year now, it pitchers every leaf and has no stress on the leaves either, I have plans to just grow it on my windowsill here soon

😂 Hahaha, I want to make a highland growing area!

I just got my first bicalcarata and almost killed it because I let the humidity drop from 99% to 60% for 3 hours which made it wilt and lose all its pitchers 💀 I keep it in a jar lol

Could it be a combination of low humidity and temperature?
@szanar842211 ай бұрын
@@WindowsillNepenthes I keep the jar near the heater so the temperature is always around 23-26°C. I'm a total beginner plus I live in Poland so it's really difficult to replicate the conditions for a lowland nep. It's silly, but I really wanted the bicalcarata because it looks badass on the t-shirt I got from your store🤠 I hope it's not plant abuse. Keep up the good work!!

@@szanar8422 I have a truncata and hope the same doesnt happen to me lol. But i doubt it. Tho my humidty can fluctuate a lot from 92% down to 40%.
@szanar84223 ай бұрын
@@HyeonsikLi truncatas are awesome and pretty resilient so I wouldn't worry about it too much, they don't need crazy high humidity like extreme lowlanders (bicalcarata). Update: my bicalcarata feels great in the jar and pushes out pretty big pitchers with little fangs they're so cute
