i have very good results by having the water about and inch under water.. but it all comes up to personal preference.. id say that go no lower that half inch and no further than 2 inches.. i like a little bubbling and a little shaking.. I'm one of those people that buys a hookah because it makes the right soundtrack :D

1:55 , im sorry, but that did not sound like a good draw, it sounded really airy.. not sure if the mic didnt pick it up or... my perception of good draw involves a bit more bubbly sounding water? does such a draw improve the smoke?

I was watching when you're older videos on how to make shesha and instead of using honey would you be able to use E liquid because it requires vegetable glycerin anyway I could hypothetically use it as the honey Vegas or this will glycerin base to make it more flavorful. Ps love the videos keep it up.

+Hookah .org for an opaque vase, you could use ice cold water and feel the temperature difference in the vase when you get to the right level, then either mark the vase or as you stated .. measure it. cold water imo would be faster in an eyeballing style against the depth of the inlet pipe.

Either the water level is too high, the tobacco is packed too tightly or the foil is being pulled down and blocking airflow (if you're using a funnel)

_ fallen _ you probably already have a answer but when putting water in the hookah you have to put in cold water this because the water is to cool down the smoke so the colder the water the better the smoke is
