Tesco price match with some Aldi products and so not all things are expensive as long as your not brand loyal the differences in price is much closer these days than in the past. I recommend you shop where is more local to you than travelling across the city or towns saving a few pound as "penny wise, pound foolish". Thanks for informing guys on the cost of living in UK, I still think it's a very cheap place to live and work when comparing it with other developed countries of the world.
