How much will Dynamat quiet down my electric fuel pump?

The rotor vane fuel pump in this 1970 Challenger is LOUD! But don't blame the pump! Location makes a big difference. I install some Dynamat Xtreme to quiet it down and take before and after measurements with a decibel meter downloaded on my phone.

dynamat doesn't do much blocking sound. You need MLV in the car floor and whereever you can put it like door panels ect

Yeah, I hear you (no pun intended). I think its a little bit of a balancing act in terms of how much weight you want to add to your car vs reduced noise/comfort.
