In this video, I talk about how much I've earnt on youtube in my first 6 months monetized as a pokemon investment content creator.
Quite often it's hard to see what small channels make per video or per month, so that's what I outlay in this video.

As a 30 year old that grew up with pokemon and now can afford to fulfill the dreams of collecting that I wasn't able to as kid, I don't like a lot of the current pokemon content creators. I just like the facts and educated opinions. I don't need the music, the flashing colors and images, the overtop characters, and the in your face styles. This is the content I like, the input from a fellow collector/investor that seems like your average has a day job and likes pokemon as a hobby guy.

Yeah no doubt overall you are the best pokemon creator as you are an enjoyable person to watch. The way you talk, your voice, the way you stay calm and don’t get loud and over the top, you just seem like a very likable guy all around. Everyone else is so dramatic and obnoxious. What people are craving are just genuine people and characters these days. People are starved for it.

Trust me you are appreciated for being a real human towards your audience. The Pokemon content creation sphere is overwhelmingly predatory on their viewers. Advocating for people to buy the singles / sealed product that they are wanting to rise and then drop their stock. It's all pretty shameless. The best advice often is a result from your own mistakes made and lessons learned and provides value to your viewers by helping them avoid those mistakes in the first place, hence the success of your top video. I think the massive uptick during Nov. - Dec. is from the holiday season and increased spending habits of the average Pokémon card consumer. It could be advantageous to plan ahead a burst of ripper content to take advantage of that trend for this next year and pair with Google Ads advertising to capture new viewers. Happy to share insight on that platform if desired! Going back to watch all of the old videos 5 times and nudge the algorithm in Michael’s favor 😂

I find my videos tank the first 2 days then theyll start getting like 200 view and hour on day 3 before dropping off. very strange how youtube tries to figure out what audience to give the videos too before the impressions start the get high click through rates. maybe cause my channel is young and small but interesting to see where youre at with 10k vs my 200!
