If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I just uploaded my longest video, which is about an hr long and it doubled my subs and watch time hours and most of all, I've been impacting more lives positively and this is the best part of it all. I created is to share my opinion about these main things that truly impacted the way I live and how I became a minimalist. It's the one most vulnerable videos that I had been hesitant to post for many months because of the fear of being misunderstood but I finally decided to overcome that fear so others can learn from my experience so we can all grow together. The best advice I can give you is to focus more on providing as much value as you can as a creator while trying your best to enjoy the process of creation. Strategize based on your experience and adapt as needed. Everything else will fall into place

I would love to hear how things are going for you now! Thank you for providing us with transparency with some metrics of what we might expect. Today I was feeling a bit low about my content. Even though I know consistency is what will bring your channel to where you want it to be, and that we shouldn't pay too much attention to the analytics, it can definitely be a downer when you put so much time and effort into your videos only to sometimes get less than 100 views. Just gotta keep going! I love to see that you've grown from 1k to 31k since this was posted a year ago! Good for you on remaining consistent and getting your channel to grow so much!

I think. The hardest part is remaining motivated. Especially when you are 2 years into making content and still only getting 40, 50 or 60 views on something you spend hours or days filming and editing. The struggle is real! I have sat in that chair, editing for hours, wondering.. why am i doing this? For my channel, we decided long ago, its not about making money, its about having great adventures and sharing it with the few that care! Maybe one day we might recoup the investment, that would be a win for me!

Actually while I'm pretty bad at making videos it's a little sad to get about 10 views per videos. But then it's become a sort of documentary for me so I feel like if don't even get people to watch them I'm still happy I have all of these records. It's also nice to see how I've improved

@@SheChoseHealing haha when I started last year and had 1 subscriber (myself) and told friends I needed 1000 They laughed at how big of a number it is. For a year it felt like miles away but one day after the next a few more came in and 16 months to the day of my first video number 1000 came in. Keep going, enjoy the process and the numbers will happen on their own 😊

Thank you Irena. I found this video to be encouraging as well as educational. My channel is about thoroughbred horse racing and I just passed 500 subscribers. It has been a tremendous amount of work but I hope to be monetized in time for the Kentucky Derby. I picked last year's winner Mage in the Kentucky Derby futures at 75 to 1 and when he won it was a great day for me as well as Mage and his team. Hint: Mage's brother Dornoch may run in this year's Kentucky Derby. :)

I feel your pain. I started my channel last Jan and in late March had a video go...semi viral...and then it died. I've been struggling to get the same viral reaction on any other video so I feel like I got lucky one time, like on a slot machine and that leaves you with false hope. We really appreciate sharing your specific experience. We’ve been active for 14 months and are still further away than we’d like to be from our subscriber goal. But yay - we’ve already reached our watch hour goal. We didn’t start posting consistently (same day/same time until 6 months ago. And we do 1 video a week and just started adding 2-4 shorts/week.
