Winning combination is to give your viewers the thing they want to see. Being a KZbinr is like a business, and business owners give people products/services that people need in their life. It's practically the same. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of Famester to help) will always pay off at the end. Good luck to everybody, I really hope you are going to succeed one day.

Subscribers do matter if you are not on the KZbin Partner Program because you haven't met the criteria yet. But yes once you qualify views are more important because views from those who aren't subscribers are potential subscribers. Love 🥰 this video and love ❤Jade.

Just continue to do videos that they want and make sure you do one's that is interesting and entertainment like if it's Hollywood or something. KZbin works by feeding your new video out to existing subscribers. It they react well it feeds it to unknown new viewers, so yes subscribers matter.

The perfect example as to why subscriber count isn't the most important is KZbin requires 1,000 subs BUT 4,000 hours of watch time to monetize. They don't even think that subs are important.

Subscribers DO matter though. It’s like saying likes don’t matter or the number of comments don’t matter. New subs are another positive metric for the algorithm to pump out your videos more. And subscriber numbers are especially important when negotiating brand deals.

For those that are just starting on KZbin - don’t give up! It’s true that gaining a following is harder than ever since there’s more competition. However, it’s never too late! Consistency is key. The more you post, the quicker the algorithm will pick up your videos. Focus on creating quality content. The world is your oyster!

It feels off to me as well, in one of my KZbin Journey updates, I had mentioned I don't think I'll be using it for now, even the subscribe button effects, I stopped using it at 75 subscribers and I'm over a 100 now, meaning it's your content that genuinely convince people to subscribe and not the saying it or popping it on the screen.

My advice: Get subscribers on YT shorts, and watchtime hours on long format video. Don't worry about copyright issues if you are getting started. It doesn't matter. You are still not monetized anyway. But you will get the hours you need. The most watched long form video is music compilation. Add interesting videos to it.

TRUTH‼️ I just hit 100k subs on 5/13/24 and I'm not monetized 😤 I got monetized in March, demonetized in April for what they consider "reused content" after hours of editing and curating said "reused" content (I can reapply in July) Advice: Original content always wins! (just follow guidelines) If you're going to curate content you MUST add your likeness (commentary and or "add value" editing like using different clips to express the subject of the video)

i allways suspected that subscribers, is just there to show how popular a channel is. like its a natural thing to look "how many subs does she have,..oh that many...she must make good stuff if so many people subscribe." i think this is more prevalent than anything the algorythm does

It's really disappointing though cause when KZbin started in the early years, numbers made such an impact. Many of us worked years to build the numbers and generally most of our uploads would get to at least 10-20% of our subs. Now it's a post and pray algorithm across all social media. It's sad actually.
