Sorry for your loss! I understand you bcz i have been through this and it is difficult for everyone even for the other pets who are mourning.... mine had the same attitude when my husband passed away, she wouldn't eat, and was very depressed.for many weeks. Be strong for your other pets..❤❤❤❤

My friend, losing a beloved animal friend is always hard, not just for you but your other animal friends. I’m certain you didn’t just add joy to his life, but through the care you gave him, you gave home a longer life. Unfortunately our kitty friends do not last very long with out us humans intervening and giving them the care they need. I am sure he is very happy to have had you in his life. If you believe in heaven, then a he’s already there making friends with people you know who already passed away, and likewise if you believe in rebirth he’s out there waiting to be reborn with you and your other kitty friends.

@ No worries. It reminds me of my partners cat that I fell in love with. She was already old when I started to come over. She didn’t like anyone, until I started to be kind to her aware that she probably hurt from arthritis. She quickly feel in love with me despite wearing diapers, regular shower. Etc because of something the issues he had. She really like the wet food I gave her due to her having lost all of her teeth already, and being dressed up in clothes like dresses and stuff covering her harness as I took her a lot of places due to how worried she got about when I wasn’t home. My parents and my late mother in law (their mother) told me how she (the cats would would look around for me while meowing, and once she realized I wasn’t on the property she would go and lay down by the door so she would know before anyone else that I was gone). I absolutely adored her as I would regularly take her out on a harness and dress’s up and she got so many pets, she didn’t mind me outing those things and spent most of the time on these adventures purring. My partners family struggled with why she was only like that with me. One year she got really sick and in struggled with eating and drinking. My birthday was coming up in a few days and I prayed to God that she would passed away peacefully as she lived a long life and I didn’t want her to be in pain m, and so thankfully she passed away peacefully in her sleep in my arms on my birthday. I’ve had another cat that we had put to sleep (end up on my birth day as well) because he caught an incurable disease and the longer we tried to get him to live, the more pain he would be in. He was my mother I law cat but I had to take care of him because she narrowly escaped death from a fall and couldn’t take care of him anymore. She suffered a lot because of it, she chose to stay alive and push through for her children, but it’s not easy.

@ aww that’s really sweet of you and I must say did a great job she’s must be proud of you, thankfully she passed away in the arms of someone who loves her allot snd that’s the whole point of life i hope you meet her again in heaven ♥️🫂

Just as you mourn the passing of Simon, you have to let your other two cats take the time necessary to mourn their brother. I have the ashes of two dogs and one much loved stray waiting to be mixed with my own ashes when I die. The pain does diminish, but their death serves to remind us of why we are alive. I personally believe in rebirth. What are your beliefs? (You don't have to write them here, this was a rhetorical question). Now you have to be strong for the two that remain and when you feel ready get them another little brother or sister. There are so many abandoned cats out there, so many homeless ones out there, all looking to "belong" to a family. I still have two cats and I feed a stray who comes to the house, but I will not take any more pets because I am old. You are still plenty young enough to take in another little stray when you feel ready for it. That is your duty and obligation to the cat world. And it brings you closer to G*d. Much love and your video although sad is very beautiful.
