Hi from a fellow maker...What can I say- a perfect tour of your project! Thank you for recording this! I work in technical side of theatre & broadcast and became fascinated by musical fountains after visiting the Grand Haven Fountain in MI whilst on holiday. Perhaps it's our desire to entertain the public that drives us..? I loved seeing how you stitched all this together even the detail of the FTDI chips etc I also have been wondering for a long time about the problem of frozen fountains, you explained that solution too.

Look into Instrumentation Technology and similar degrees. That would help you get on the right track. I understand most of this. I'd have to brush up on a few things (especially AC Circuits), but this is doable with some research.

Can you share your source for the LED lights from China? I would love to pick up some of those for our own display. Also, I am not much of an electrician. What is the purpose of the caps for the ESR levels?
