My suggestion on getting bored with books when you have babies - read aloud books you want to read yourself. I read the entire Harry Potter series, most of Jane Austen, and Barbara Kingsolver's Animal Vegetable Miracle to Emma when she was a baby. It was a great way to put her to sleep before naps and bedtime 🤷🏼‍♀ Funny thing, Emma's favorite books now that she is in high school - Harry Potter and Jane Austen. The first few months were great on fairy tales and board books/picture books, but after that I was bored out of my mind 🤣

As a Brit here, you HAVE to try the Julia Donaldson books, she is a British ICON and her books are fabulous!! They rhyme and I read some to my kids so much I know them by heart!! They also have short stop-motion films too for a lot of them!! xx Titles include: The Gruffalo The Gruffalo's child (sequel) Stickman What the ladybird heard Room on the Broom Zog Zog and the flying doctor The Snail and the Whale Plus many more!

I’m a grandma of 13 and number 12 and 13 came in March 2024 three days apart , each of my daughters had one .A girl and A boy ….. I love to baby shop… but I always but diapers , wipes , cups for the future and a couple different sizes of outfits /sleepers . Then I got each of my daughters a gift just for them like a pampered gift .

I'm going to finish up my May action steps. I'm happy with my progress this year - I've figured out that several of my goals I just didn't care about so they got ditched, and I modified some others as well. It has taken me so long to let go of the shoulds, but phew what a relief!

Laken- on the one free book a month for kids - there is also an organization called PJ Library that does a free Jewish book per month if that’s something you and Sam might be interested in! We do it for our son and love it!!
