I will never understand how one decides to SPONSOR someone else to become a U.S. permanent resident within one year of meeting each other. My people, make una learn o! The story has same end 99% of the time. This “sponsorship” matter is not a joke o! You’re making (at minimum), a 5-year commitment to be financially responsible for whoever you decide to sponsor. In auntie Bukky’s case, 3 people!!!! If that man or his kids incur medical bills (for example) and they don’t have good health insurance, and/or he can’t cover the costs, Medicaid will pay and send the info to the US government - who’ll then go after Bukky - because she SPONSORED them. I’m not asking auntie Bukky to revoke his GC, but like president BO said, submit an official complaint to USCIS about how he used you and his plans to sponsor someone else from Nigeria in the near future. Trust USCIS will wait patiently for him to fall into the trap.

Go to court and revoke his green card , don’t let him know without consulting an attorney. If it is less than two years the judge will order his deportation, my friend did it to a girl who used him as a spring boat to get to USA. It has got to be less than two years. This was done in Seattle Washington. We watched her beg and beg when the verdict came. What she did was beyond pardon , she cleaned his bank account and used him to petition for her boyfriend to come as a visitor and her mom too and filed for divorce before the final paper for green card was signed. It costs money but you are teaching a lesson to many. Please leak your wound and move on. I love you. Be strong. Don’t fall in love with someone who wants to use You. The lady should fully explore her chances with pursuing the legal route. This is as much for her son as for her own healing and growth from this awful . She is angry, hurt and also feeling vengeful. These are raw emotions motivated by a sense of injustice. She can seek justice which will help her to direct these emotions constructivel, and it would restore something in her by way of personal dignity and self-respect because she probably also feels humiliated. It will also be empowering to her because she must also feel helpless. At the very least she should exlore her options and weigh up the pros and cons, fully informed. We believe in God. A wrong has been done here, and intentionally so. The saying goes: "God helps those who help themselves." We know of all the reasons why she shouldn't try and everythings look scary from this perspective. That's what calls for faith and trust in God to help us as we act to help ourselves. In regards to her son, this is a significant experience at a powerfully formative stage in his life as his emotional development is strongly connected with his mum. He will carry what is established at this stage into his adult life. He should know that he can be other than a victim, and that it is not allowed for a person to intentionally ill-use anyone he loves, including himself.

I was discussing with someone about this and she said Buky may have to pay him alimony if she files for divorce. She also said there's a question in the citizenship application where they ask you if you willfully married someone in order to get citizenship. Buky can write to the immigration and just leave it at that which means he'll be stuck with permanent residency for life and God help him if he does anything wrong within that time

The paper can be revoked. The one that used me for paper here in Canada got his papers revoked. I went through maintainable enforcement who picked up the case. Maybe because we a child together. I never knew they could go that far. They contacted all Canadian embassy abroad. He ran to his country with his country woman. Today my daughter is in the university and we have our own house. I agree with Omoye and BO, this is accountability not revenge because the laws were established to take care of this type of issue and sister Buky would not be offending God if she takes action. The Bible said we should obey constituted authority so African should not always "leave it to God".
