With less than 1% of even just the EU's arsenal, Russia can barely take 2 Ukrainian provinces. Remember when Irans 200 Lancet drones were shot down on their way to Israel? Remember when Israeli F16s wiped out all of Irans modern Russian S400 air defense systems? Russia currently loses over 1,000 troops a day just fighting Ukraine. If the Russians fought NATO, they'd retreat faster than they did at the start of the Ukraine war when they realized they couldn't reach Kyiv.

well the theory is one thing... All the european countries have grave shortage of artillery - deciding part of army in the ongoing conflict. It's nice to have all the bmps there, but if the enemy is ready to blast them with artillery, they won't accomplish much, same the slow flying helis if the enemy is there ready with aa guns and MANPADs. THis is more like a show off rather than proper training. It would be good to get serious

My point was, that this whole push would fail in practice in a real war, since the widespread adoption of FPV and AI Assisted Targetting drones.

@@side3672 there is no fpv and artillery against air superiority. the reason it works in ukraine its because neither side has it. the reason it didn't in armenia and israel recent wars and attacks is because.... the SAMs were obliterated. every war is a new war, unlike the old one. there are next to none FPV against IDF, there were next to none in Syria too btw. the "artillery line" russia uses was defeated.... in the 60s. in egypt. by air superiority. in 4 days.
