Letitia Visser has been with Sasol since 2004 and is the franchisee of Sasol Swartgoud. She takes us through the various products that the shop at her petrol station offers, from coffee to healthy meals. She points out that one of the challenges in this business is ensuring that every customer who walks into the shop walks out happy and that they will come back. According to her happy staff leads to happy customers. She says the advantage of being with a big brand like Sasol is that it knows the business, trains retailers and also offers maintenance services. She shares advice on starting out in the fuel retail industry. Her plan is to grow the business and build a food court. She also talks about her partnership with Nedbank, which spans over 20 years, and how the bank helps her with handling money.
