If you take requests, I have one for you. In 2010, Cartoon Network in LATAM & Brazil got an era that is merely a Noods era but extended called “Toonix”. Over 500 bumpers were made, which created it’s own huge lost media search I am the person who started. It’s unknown how many bumpers were made exactly, as this could’ve neared the 1000s since some bumpers only aired once (this also includes Ya Viene/Next bumpers!), plus on-screen banners exist that tell the viewer what show aired next. Again, most of these are lost. You could really bring light to this… All of my good friends are on with this search too!

I had an uncle that had cable TV at least a year before anyone else in our family did. I'm gonna say mid 1979. Needless to say, visits to my uncle became a bit more interesting afterwards. While the family talked in another room, I channel surfed his connection, from "Group W" cable, if I remember correctly. I was 15, so I thought that seeing a lot of the unusual stuff was great. Weird, foreign cartoons, and original episodes of "The Flintstones" dubbed in French. Anyway, throughout the whole platform, advertisements for "Nickelodeon" were rampant. About as much as for HBO and the networks that ran major league baseball. It may have been a few years before "Nick" came in to its own, but Warner's really promoted the heck out of it, right out of the box.

Hi BrayBray, Great news! Lorie Salvatera's song has been found, just one! It was a second song that is Reprise version of "I'll Always Be Your Friend", including the first original. Thanks to this KZbinr name " Ka Lahui o Hawai'i Nei ", ( where he uploaded so many old music from 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and so many different releases years ). Wasn't there a talk show on early NICK called "Bananas" (not to be confused with "America Goes Bananaz"). Think of it as a Phil Donahue Show for the young teen demographic. I recall it had on guests like George Perez and Gary Gygax.

Like is that just how you present your information or is it for the bit/memes too? I don’t have a problem with it (I think that it could be entertaining if you’re doing it on purpose and you don’t go too overboard), I am just genuinely wondering. My family got cable in the late summer of 1979. I was about 12. I remember most of the shows you talked about. I watched a good bit of them. I really liked America Goes Bananaz... I was the perfect age for it. I remember when the channel shut down for the night, it had a series of title cards promoting the other shows. As I look back now, it was really cheap looking, late 70s computer generated stuff.
