After injuring by back this past Christmas I truly realized how dependent we all are on how much we need our back/spines for just the simplest of daily activities. Thankfully I recuperated really fast.

I thought the spine was the vertebral column, not including the actual nervous tissues, maybe 'spinal cord' was a better choice of wording?

were is all of that advanced science when you need it? I keep seeing news like this, I don't know how doctors dare to try stuff like this on someone but when you're really in need they give you first the most generic crap and if that doesn't work they try with the next generic crap until you're literally dying they decide to do a generic surgery leaving patients most of the time to recover over the years to never completely achieving it.

terrible vid, this is not what the spine does nor the brain. the human brain is the body. the entire body is the brain. ppl like to think the brain is the head part of the body, and cut off the neck down as if it doesnt matter or irreverent to being healthy. a healthy mind is a healthy body. the nevus system is what does everything. not the spine. the spine is like the highway. the nevus system is like the roads plus the cars, car being the electrical pulses. anyone here that knows elliott hulse will know everything.

What? Look the brain is like a (x)processor, the spine is the (y)secondary prescessor. Without the x we won't function, and without the y we won't function properly.

A goalie? What nonsense! It's not the spine (Baby). The goalie needs to either see or hear the puck being shot. That is the signal that triggers everything, because, you see, a spine doesn't have eyes or ears. And since the brain needs to send a trigger signal there is no real autonomy from the spine. Plain bad science. You seem to be confused with situations where there is sensory information going up the spine already, as is the case with the sense of touch. In those cases the signal can be reacted on earlier by having some processing done in the spine. But the goalie doesn't 'feel' the puck, now does he/she? So this kind of short-cut does not exist. All the information about setting the limb in motion must be initiated by the brain. That is the only part that knows about the puck being fired at the goalie.

science is just consistency of phenomena as acquired through sensory input - which is deceptive. "God" and "science" = "mirrors" of whatever we fundamentally are and are doing "here" - neither has proven a greater answer to that truth than other...

You know who doesn't get enough credit? All the physicists who led to the invention of the computer, plastics, lasers, electricity or internet which you use to try and spread your bullshit. Religion is the entity that kept us from discovering those things long ago. Give a prayer to everyone who was killed or whoose work was burned in the name of "Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ" and to all the people that were affected by that. Humanity could have been centuries more advanced, so all of us have to suffer because of the things done in the name of "Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ". If you want to live like 2000years ago, why use modern technologies? The church affirmed that they are "The Devil's work", yet you use them.

The name of the channel is D NEWS not Dtamperedwithnews. And don't you think jesus gets enough credit? He has a whole book written on him, and what do the doctors that do this get? Nothing (most of the time).

Just a small tip, stop forcing the jokes and the "animated" actitude, it feels akward, just act natural and dont try to be funny if youre not a natural funny person, Vsauce is an example, that guy acts normal and never do lame jokes, he still has millions of views because the content is interesting, stop wasting time in thinking your dialogue and focus in the info because thats what this channel is about, if i want commedy ill be watching other channels, also try to include more "mindblowing" info in your videos, most of the time i end closing the video before it actually finishes because the most interesting thing is in the title, and the rest is just plain info about how the things mentioned in the tite work. That's also why you have 1 million subscribers and only 60 - 100k views per video, because the most interesting part is in the title, with time people end loosing interest in your videos and videos like "Scientist invent the Best Tractor Beam" don't get views even if they deserve it. Thank You.
