Out of all the bike channels I watch, this channel has to be the best one. It's fun watching you two taking the long way around with minimal research. Thanks for another fun video!

Wow, thanks! Appreciate you saying that! Yeah, I think it would help if I did more research but it's been fun to see if things work out or not! Thanks for watching and for leaving that comment!

Great video as always. One note for anyone reading.. most BMX bikes stock chains don't come with a master link. You can break the chain anywhere convenient. A master link on a road bike is completely different, where you can snap it in and unsnap it to get the chain off and on. BMX is never that easy! Cheers!

Thanks for the info! As always, you are just a wealth of BMX knowledge! For any of you that watch our channel, go check out @BCbikes on the videos he has. The guy is super knowledgeable! Thanks man!

Looking good!! Ran into the same issue with my quad and the shadow conspiracy. I ended up buying 2 chains and there was more than enough left over to put on my neighbors 20" haro.

Helpful cleaning tip: I use WD-40 wiped lightly on my spokes to prevent breaking because of air/salt, I stay Oahu. I used to break a lot of spokes. Really cool to find out your professions, Raspect Bradaz.

Great upgrades and video! If you buy the Odyssey 1/2 link chain it will be long enough.
@cruisinginthe8082 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing that tip! I contacted Shadow Conspiracy and they have no solution to my problem but are thinking about coming out with a longer chain for the bigger gear bikes. I will look into the Odyssey so thank you for that!

You’re welcome. As for the Brooks saddles , the B17 is more comfortable than the C17 , once it’s broken in . The C17 will feel the same years down the road as it did on day one- not that comfy to me.

swapping wheels on the quad is expensive with the disk break and cassette needs. I was looking at doing purple for the chrome on my quad and after seeing the profile pricing for just the rear hub….it would be cheaper for my idea to just buy and arctic monster quad and swap parts and then sell off the other bike. Though just replacing the actual rims and keeping the hub silver might be a better route…just a thought.
@cruisinginthe8082 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the hubs would be very expensive for sure. Part of me is like, just bite the bullet and pay for it because this is my favorite bike to ride so why not spend the money on it? But the other side of me is like, hold on, that's a ton of change just for rims! Decisions, decisions! Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts on this. Much appreciated!

I know they're pricy, but have you given any thought to carbon fiber rims? After all, it's a Quadangle man. What better than unique rims on a unique bike? Are all those exotic sounding birds in the background just the natural wildlife sounds? I wake up to either robins or garbage trucks. Did you use grease when you installed those sweet pedals or did you accidently use Lock Tight?🥴 Nice video guys. You never fail to entertain.

Can someone tell me what type of chain my stock ARTIC white monster quad has in trying to get a new one because it rusted but I don’t know what to get or how to even get one
@cruisinginthe808 Жыл бұрын
The Monster Quad, according to the SE Bikes website, came with a KMC S1 chain. If you search that up on Google, you'll be sure to find one for sale someplace. I've used Planet BMX, BMX Guru, or even just Amazon it self. This is a silver one off of Amazon. amzn.to/44ExUi1

It seems like you guys run Deez Nuts on just about all your bikes. With them being aluminum, have you experienced any issues with the threads inside the nuts stripping out from torquing them down? Graphite rims are on my bucket list (if I win the lottery), and if I can afford them, I can afford some sort of security nutz. Bougie Bike! Just one viewer's opinion but with that black chainring on your cranks, just the addition of blue chainring nuts would be a nice color accent. I'm gonna find the sleekest, most stylish racing seat I can possibly find and then get butt implants to match the seat so that I'm both stylish AND comphy whilst I'm-a-ridin'!
@cruisinginthe8085 ай бұрын
😂 Implants??? Haha! We have never had an issue with the Deez Nutz ever being stripped or anything. They are pretty solid! Win that lottery so you can make those upgrades happen! Thanks for sharing that and for watching! 🤙🏻
