Medieval 2 is only good because of mods, vanilla is DREADFUL. Have fun moving your merchant for 20 turns to gold near Timbuktu. D-R-E-A-D-F-U-L. Shogun 2 is the best, any time.

@@thomasmair2422 shogun 2 is barebones compared to med 2. Worse engine for combat, sieges are all the same, less units, less content. Simplified building with only a couple choices in most. Med 2 is leaps and bounds better than shogun 2.
